"In Istanbul, every day at noon Bahá'u'lláh would go to the Mosque of Sultán Muhammad and there recite the prayer in the manner of Islam" (Ustád Muhammad-`Alíy-i Salmání, MY MEMORIES OF BAHÁ'U'LLÁH, pp. 38-39)
ReplyDeleteOne from during their banishment:
"Thereupon, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá sought water to perform His ablution. With the utmost deliberation, He completed His ablution and then commenced to perform the long obligatory prayer of the Muslims." (Khalil Shahidi, Translated by Ahang Rabbani, A Lifetime with Abdu'l-Baha, p. 116)
Another from during their banishment:
"At the beginning, when wisdom in certain matters was most necessary and essential, ‘Abdu’l-Bahá would fast during Ramadan." (Khalil Shahidi, Translated by Ahang Rabbani, A Lifetime with Abdu'l-Baha, p. 42)
This continued to the last day of his life:
"Abdu’l-Bahá’s manifold activities continued with little abatement despite increasing bodily weakness and weariness up till the last day or two of His life. On Friday, November 25, 1921, He attended the noonday prayer at the Mosque in Haifa" (Esslemont, Baha'u'llah and the New Era, p. 65)
Aforementioned references are all Baha'i sources.
